Boulcott Lodge - Lower Hutt

Flexible and understanding about our arrival time which was pretty late, after a rugby world cup match. Liked the design and fit-out - good quality and functional.

I was working in Wellington, so I just slept there at nights. Found the bed very comfortable, the motel quite, and a relaxing part of my day to chill out in my room.

Excellent presentation, very comfortable, high quality chattels.

Very small / cramped outdoor area in my Dad's ground floor unit. Mine on the other side of the complex was absolutely fine. Didn't worry us on this occassion as we were only in for 1 night for a funeral, but might if we stayed longer in future.

It was very private and quite easy to relax. And the staff are very friendly.

We enjoyed Boulcott Lodge compared to Angus Inn where we stayed for a week about 2 weeks ago in a much bigger room however Boulcott was so much cleaner and we loved the natural green and brown colours. Lovely to see the class milk bottle, brought back pleasant childhood memories. The male at reception was welcoming and very helpful but I rated good as opposed to excellent due to waiting for the lady to come to reception so we could get new cards cut for the room but she never came after 5 minutes so I left.

2 armchairs for 2 people for a change. Good location for Maungaraki family visits. Easy access to Wellington, Shops nearby for supplies

Lovely rooms, well equipped, clean. Friendly hosts. Delicious cooked breakfast delivered to room at appointed time.

We chose on-line mostly because of the proximity to the Hutt Hospital and because it looked pleasant on the web site. We were very happy to find the room (although quite small) was clean, modern, has relaxing decor and is echo conscious. Some family members visited for a while before dinner (walked to Indian Restaurant just down the road) and we found the room to be large enough and comfortable enough when including the outdoor chairs. We will definately stay again if we need to be in that area. Proximity to the hospital is perfect.

A well appointed, very clean motel with tasteful design and decoration. The location is central to Lower Hutt but quiet and easily accessable from the highway. Provision of cooking facilities and a larger than normal fridge makes it easy to self cater. Washing facilities are available at a small cost.

Everything. Relaxed, friendly, private. Had everything we needed including quality toiletries. Would definitely go there again and would recommend it to any of you reading these reviews.

design, quality of breakfast food

liked it all but would have liked to have notepaper in the room. Felt the price was high but not out of the range of other accommodation in the area.

The rooms were compact but well set out. The bed was very comfortable. The service was great.

The shower box is too small. and I slipped over twice in it as well.
